He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thurman Brooks and Eva Jeanette Seegers Brooks; his brother James "Butch" Thurman Brooks; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Tina Aaron Brooks; his children, Angelica Louise Brooks and Chester Aaron Brooks; his siblings, Pam Bishop of Louisiana, Tracy Burgess (David) of Inman, S. C. and David Brooks of Spartanburg; his half-sister Renee White of Cleveland, TN; his father-in-law Jimmy W. Aaron, Sr. of Newton; and also Numerous.
Chet believed we should all do our patriotic duty and get vaccinated against Coronavirus (Covid 19) so it could be eradicated.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Family Guidance Center, Hickory, N.C., as a child and family of domestic violence, he has always wanted to do more to help other families or to Carolina Caring, who made it possible to keep Chet at home and keep him as comfortable as possible in his last days.
