He is survived by: his wife Eva Westmoreland Reinhardt; and his children, James Allen Gunter (Susan) of Newton, Robert Lynn Gunter (Teresa Williams) of Mills River, Ronald Wayne Gunter (Kelly) of Newton, Charles Norman Gunter (Gina) of Huntersville, Judy Lanier of Sanford, Margaret Rizzo (Mike) of Newton and Barbara Pitts.
