She is survived by: her son Mark Self (Shenine) of Statesville; her sister Brenda McCurry (Dallas "Goober") of Bostic; her grandchildren, Xavier Hands and Payton Turvey; her nieces, Brandi Crump and Nicole Self; her nephew Larry Dewayne Self; and her great-nephew Frenchie.
