He is survived by: his wife Pat Moose Welch; his son Dwayne Welch (Amanda DeHart Welch) of Conover; his daughter-in-law Connie Fox Welch of Conover; his siblings, Mike Welch of Hickory and Jo Anne Bowman of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Caleb Welch (Briana), Robert Welch, Lexie Echerd (John), Anderson Welch, Addie Jo Welch and Grayson Welch; and his great grandchild Millie Echerd A.
