With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Zeb Jenkins of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell Early Jenkins and Ada Parker Jenkins; his wife Rebecca Elmore Jenkins; and his siblings, Ferrell Early Jenkins, Jr., Elsie Withers, Rachel Carter, Pauline Moose and Margie Sigmon.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Smith Walker of Conover, Sandra Jenkins Phillips (Wes Phillips) of Cornelius, Tony Calvin Jenkins (Karen) of Lincolnton and Timothy James Smith of Newton; his grandchildren, Major Christopher Walker (Anna), Kasey Gaddy, Tiffany Smith, Matthew Smith, Daniel Jenkins and Hannah Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Emmalyn, Leila, Madeleine, Allyssa and Cameron; and his brothers, David Jenkins (Fat) and Roger Jenkins.
