It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kaye Icard Jones of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gustavus Icard and Virgil Mae Wilson Icard; and her siblings, Earl, Fred, Kelly, Wayne Icard, Irene Bowman, Shirley Martin, Leola "Dot" Buff, June Carswell, Peggy Icard and Priscilla Shepherd.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Icard (Leigh Ann) of Hildebran; her grandsons, Scotty Icard of Hildebran, Ethan Icard (Meaghan) of Kannapolis, Easton of Kannapolis and Beckham Icard of Kannapolis; and her sister Marie Icard Gantt of Icard.
