He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Ford (Jeff) of Taylorsville and Jeannie Deal (Mike) of Conover; his sister Sarah Calloway of Granite Falls; his brother-in-law Thad Thompson, Jr. of Texas; his aunt Betty Spencer of Hickory; his grandchildren, Kelli Peterson, Sherri Hefner Helms, Corey Deal (Francis) and Caleb Deal (Alexis); and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Peterson (Jacob), Brysen Robinson, Eli Helms, Ethan Helms, Abigail Helms, Jakhi Bowen, Angel Helms, Chad Hudson Jr., Penelope Deal and Isabella Deal.
