It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Salmons Winters (Conover, North Carolina), born in Mountain City, Tennessee, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Salmons and Ruth Salmons; her husband Harley Winters; and her siblings, Paul, Pat Salmons and Nellie Salmons.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Winters (Glenda) of Denver, NC and Margaret McDaris (Terry) of Hickory, NC.; her grandchildren, Bryan McDaris, Elizabeth Winters, Joshua Winters and Benjy Bentley; her great grandchildren, Jordan McDaris, Makena McDaris, Brianna Winters, Haylee Winters, Bryson Bentley and Kevin Bentley; and also, Emery and Benjamin Bentley.
