It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean James of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Leon James; her children, Joseph James, Mary Lou Barker and Carol Ann James; her sisters, Joyce Thrift and Annette Guy; and her mother Lucille Mosley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie James of Statesville, Debra Rhodes (Charles) of Alabama, Libby Summer of Texas and Gail James of Conover; her sister Kay of Florida; and her stepchildren, Richard James (Patsy) of Hickory, Gary James (Della) of Newton, Linda Stamey of Newton and Ann Barga of Hickory. She is also survived by 21 grandkids and numerous great grandkids and great great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
The inurnment was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Memorial Park.
