With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Lowrie Simanovich of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Heiskell Lowrie and Arzella Boling Lowrie; her husband Donald Simanovich; and her siblings, Fred Lowrie, Billie Sharon Mills and Mary Helen Lowrie.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Simanovich (Chelsea Kampas) of Conover and Kim Brookman (Don) of Hickory; her sister Betty Glover (James) of Bluff City, TN.; and her grandchildren, Anna Leigh Simanovich of Raleigh, Stefan J. Simanovich of Raleigh, Jackson "Jack" Simanovich of Conover, Billie Simanovich of Claremont, Jonathan Brookman (Kailyn Bragg) of Statesville, Stephanie Brookman of Clemmons and Elizabeth Brookman of Hickory.
