She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert M. Miller and Nora Beachboard Miller of Ashville, N. C; her husband Jacob Leonard Watts Sr.; her son Jacob L. "Lenny" Watts Jr.; her brother John Robert Miller; and her grandson Tyler Lee Bandy.

She is survived by: her siblings, Edna Miller Martin of Ashville and William R. Miller of California; her daughters, Deborah Watts Sigmon (Ronnie) of Claremont and Denice Watts Bandy (Michael) of Newton; her grandchildren, Shawn Sigmon of Claremont, Sergeant Jason Sigmon (Kristin) of Enterprise, Byron Sigmon of Hope Mills, Marcus Bandy (Andi) of Conover and Lieutenant Lucas Bandy (Brittany) of Navarre, Florida.; and her great grandchildren, Kody, Jacob Sigmon of Enterprise, Alabama, Eden, Colby, Emma Bandy of Conover, Garrett, Tyler and Avery Bandy of Navarre, Florida..
