Annie Sanders Hayes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Sanders Hayes of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Chilo Sanders; and her siblings, James Sanders, Dorothy McDonald, Doris Wilcox, Pauline Bumgarner, Irene Forsyth and Juanita Sanders.

She is survived by: her husband Benny Hayes; her children, Brent Hayes (Melissa) of Conover, David Hayes (Shelley) of Conover and Cynthia Simpson of Arden; her sisters, Aretha Pritchard (Ed) of Lenoir, Audrey Mull of Morganton and Betty Haas (Rodney) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Lauren McClain, Bryan Smith, Drew Hayes, Madison Hayes, Abbey Koontz, Jessica Hayes, Addison Hayes and Sophie Hayes; and her great grandchildren, Colin McClain, Grant McClain and Georgiana Grace Koontz.
