It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alvin Loy Arrowood Jr. of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Loy Arrowood, Sr. and Lois Elizabeth Barger Arrowood; and his siblings, Donald Arrowood, Gary Arrowood, Steve Arrowood and Tina A. Hudgens.

He is survived by: his wife Annita Lovelace Arrowood; his daughters, Crystal Hedrick of Conover and Amanda Houston (John) of Conover; his siblings, Michael Arrowood of Lincolnton, Wayne Arrowood of Claremont, David Arrowood of Hickory and Kay Kasper of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Grace Duke, Joshua Hedrick, Jacob Houston and Joseph Houston.
