She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Adkins and Allie Nichols Adkins; her son William Lewis Hamlett, Jr.; her siblings, J. D. Adkins, Kenneth Adkins, Dwight Adkins and Della Wilson; and her son-in-law William Andrew Holt, III.

She is survived by: her husband William Lewis Hamlett, Sr.; her daughter Pamela Hamlett Holt of Conover; and her siblings, Don Adkins, Lonnie Adkins, Earskin Adkins (Mary Beth) of Moseley, VA and Sue Buchanan. She is also survived by Five Grandchildren Eight Great-Grandchildren Three Great-Great-Grandchildren.
