It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allene Adeline White of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Calvin Campbell and Mattie Bell Campbell Campbell; her husband Lester Linwood White, Sr.; her sons, Jerry Wayne White, Sr. and Lester Linwood White, Jr.; her grandchildren, David Scott White and Amber Elaine White; her great grandchild Amber Elizabeth Hartzoge; and her siblings, Bernice Rash, Flossie Carter, Dorothy Moose, Franklin James Campbell, Howard Campbell and Carroll Campbell.
She is survived by: her son Richard Harlan White (Marie Elaine Kaskie); and her grandchildren, Jerry Wayne White, Jr. (Janice) of Fate, TX, Aaron Richard White (Sandy) of Frederick, MD, Justin Matthew White (Lisa) of Richmond, VA, Jonathan James Gibson (Ashley) of Charlotte, NC, Leslie White Porter (Eric) of Hickory, NC, Scarlett White Hartozoge (Rick) of Lincolnton, NC and Shauna Gibson Bevins (Tim) of Austin, TX. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Newton Baptist Church in Allene's name.
