She is survived by: her children, Freddie Joe Sparks (Rebecca Jo) of Tazewell, VA, Michael Dean Sparks of Conover, NC, William R. Sparks of Alexandria, VA, Drucilla Patton Sparks Raye (Richard) of Salisbury, NC, Gail Sparks of Conover, NC, Barbara Carol Parks (Harold) of Hickory, NC and Vicky Lynn Tollie (David) of Catawba, NC; and her brother Frank Deskins of Bandy, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
