She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Marshall Matthews and Eadrie Ila Hedrick Matthews; her husband Earl Edward Cazire; her daughter Barbara Powell; her siblings, Donald Matthews, Paul Taylor, Margie Martin and Rebecca Kersey; her stepfather George Taylor; and her friend Harold Huffman.
She is survived by: her children, John Edward Cazire of Hickory, Jeff Cazire of Newton, Russell Cazire (Kathy) of Catawba, Mark Cazire of Conover and Julie Sigmon (Eric) of Claremont. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
