Zelma Murl Hunt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zelma Murl Hunt of Concord, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Allen and Vashti Allen; her husband James "Will" Hunt; her children, James F Hunt and Gloria Allen; her siblings, Loise Carter, Rudolph Allen, Lonnie Allen and Billy Allen; and her grandchildren, Cheyenne Hunt and Derrick Roberson.
She is survived by: her children, Angilena Hunt Brown (Robert) of Concord, NC, Willie Lee Hunt (Chrissie) of Alabama, Clair Allen Livingston (Clinton) of Concord, NC and Brenda Givines (Willie) of Charlotte, NC; and her sister Fannie Rivera. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park - Kannapolis (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
