It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Floyd Coley of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clegg W. Coley and Flonnie B. Coley (Greene); his wife Gaye F. Coley (Shoe); and his siblings, Ella Ruth Coley Smith of Concord and Robert E. Coley of Lancaster, PA..
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Coley Hargett of Mooresville and Tonda Coley Edwards of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Brandon Furr (Amy) of Houston, TX, Bryan Furr (Megan) of Kannapolis, Brittany Overcash of Huntersville and Joshua Overcash of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Elena, Clarice Furr of Houston, TX, Madelyn and Elijah Furr of Kannapolis.
Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord Flowers are welcome and memorials may be made in memory of Gaye Shoe Coley to Alzheimer's Association - Western Carolina Chapter, 4500 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
