He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Newsome of Washington and Annie Catherine Little Newsome; and his sisters, Betty Stancil, Mary Newsome and Shirley McCoy.
He is survived by: his son Watty Newsome (Angela); his grandsons, Chadwyck Newsome (Tiffany) and Braxton Newsome (Kaylie Kane); his great grandchild Palmer Kay Newsome; and his sisters, Margie Easley and Billie Cook. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
