He is survived by: his children, Walter Edwards Jr. of Kannapolis, NC, Laurie Williams (Deon) of Concord, NC and Anthony Edwards of Kannapolis, NC; his brother JD Edwards of Concord, NC; his brothers-in-law, Raeford Kimble and Marcellous Kimble of Monroe, NC; his grandchildren, Shaneka Williams-Waddell (Deion) of Columbia, MD, Darcell Williams of Concord, NC and Jermaine Edwards of Concord, NC; and his close friends, Mary Caruth, Cedar Gray and Brenda Bryant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
