It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Houston Blackwelder of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Sadie Mills Blackwelder and Ernest Houston Blackwelder. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Green Blackwelder of Concord; his son Asa Houston Blackwelder (Mary) of Landis; his stepdaughter Jennifer Turkdamar; his brother Dennis Casper; and his grandchildren, Carley Joanna Blackwelder, Leyla Turkdamar, Emir Turkdamar and Safiya Turkdamar.
