She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde "Lefty" Thurman and Cary Mae Verble Bratton; and her son Charles Chubirko. She is survived by: her children, Maria C. Arrowood (Brian) of Mt. Pleasant and Michael Chubirko (Tammy) of Concord; her grandchildren, Brandon Chubirko, Bradley Arrowood, Brianna Arrowood and Bethany Arrowood; and her great grandchild Aspen Allred.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGill Baptist Church (5300 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
