She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hooker and Irene Hooker; her husbands, Clyde Long and Alfred Burton; and her brother Thomas Wayne Hooker.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Riley (Brad), Kathy Morrison (Philip) and Nelson Hudson (Mark); and her grandchildren, Shelia Lister (Ted), Nathan Morrison (Lani), Philip Morrison II, Brookelyn Riley (Kennon), David Riley and Charles Hunt (Tish). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Sybil's name to Tucker Hospice House of Kannapolis, NC, or Kannapolis Church of Christ.
