Susie Wheeler Obituary
In loving memory of Susie Wheeler (Concord, North Carolina), who departed this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Susie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Young and Minnie Young; her husband Donald Wheeler of West Virginia; her son-in-law Kirk Carter; her parents-in-law, Sam Wheeler and Edith Wheeler; and her brother Robert Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Greene; her son-in-law Tony Greene; her children, Patricia Carter, Mark Wheeler and Donald Wheeler Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sherry Wheeler; her grandchildren, Megean Greene, Gabrielle Carter and Casey Wheeler; and her great grandchild Jaiden McMillan.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Broadus Memorial Church (59 Green St SW, Concord, NC 28027).
In lieu of flowers and services the family asks that if you would like to support that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Susie's honor.
