He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arnold and Marjorie Agnes Gast; and his brother John Wingwood Gast. He is survived by: his wife Elaina Gast of Concord, NC; his children, Christopher Bell, Michael Bell (Sandra) and Lisa (Justin); and his grandchildren, Steven Jonathan James Gast, Christopher Bell, Lindsey Bell, William Bell, Suedaya Bell, Connor Bell and Caden Bell.
