She is survived by: her children, Paul David Stancil (Vicky) of Chapel Hill, Julia Lynn Thompson (Jeff) of Kannapolis, NC, Jonathan LeRoy Stancil (Tammy) of Greensboro, NC and Scott Alan Stancil of Durham; her brothers, Jerry Ruppe of Boydton, VA and James Ruppe of Rutherfordton, NC; and her grandchildren, Chance Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Travis Thompson and Evan Stancil. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
