She was predeceased by: her mother Willa Lee Mauldin Sloop; her husband Crawford "Frank" Franklin James, Jr.; and her son Crawford Franklin James III. She is survived by: her son David James (Kris) of Concord; and her grandchildren, Madalyn James Hutchinson (Sean) of Troutman and Crawford James of Concord.
