With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Barnhardt Hurlocker (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Barnhardt Sr. and Essie Mae Burris Barnhardt; her husband Alvin Ray Hurlocker; her brothers, Archie and Troy Barnhardt; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Barnhardt.
She is survived by: her siblings, William O. Barnhardt Jr., Kathy Flowe (Mike) and Joyce Allmon (Dexter); her sisters-in-law, Carol Barnhardt and Lila Barnhardt; her sons, Tim Hurlocker (Sandra) and David Hurlocker (Jeanna); her niece Brenda H. Feathers (Bill); her grandchildren, Nichole Cook (Josh), Kelby Hurlocker, Meredith Spradley (Jarin), Chelsey Hurlocker, Garrett Hurlocker (Katelyn), Andrew Stewart, Anthony Stewart (Kelsi), Conner Hurlocker, Gary Feathers, Taylor Feathers, James Crowell (Haylee), Jonathan Burgess, Jacobi Burgess (Ariel), Jaryn Hyatt (KC) and Jaci Burgess; and her great grandchildren, Xander Spradley, Jasper Cook, Easton Denham, Raylee Cook, AJ Spradley, Annabelle Beaudoin, Ayden Padillal, Makenna Crowell, Sadie Crowell, James Crowell, Nathan Burgess, Oliver Burgess, Austin Burgess and Adalyn Burgess. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
