It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Brooks McManus of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard F. McManus; her parents, Perry N. Brooks and Mary Jewel Kennedy Brooks; and her brother Robert Edwards. She is survived by: her sons, Brian McManus (Keri) of Raleigh and Jason McManus of Concord; her grandchildren, Lukus, Aiden and Grant; and her siblings, Dennis Brooks (Libby) of Monroe and Theresa Brooks Scott (Scottie) of New Salem. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
