He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias James "EJ" Paxton and Lora McDaniel Paxton; his son Teddy Wayne; and his siblings, Frank, Shelton and Becky.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Kathleen and Terry Lynn (Connie); his sister-in-law Cindy; his wife Kathy; his daughter Rhonda (Grayson); his grandchildren, Kimberly, Hillary and Landon; his great grandchildren, Jaden, Davis, Clara, Emerson and Riley; and his siblings, Mike (Cindy), Lois Shaver and Rachel Charles.
