He was predeceased by: his father Roy Thomas; his wife Sylvia Diane Carpenter Hopkins; and his sisters, Pansy Webb and Gaynelle Rush. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Lynn Furr, Melissa Furr Jones and Jeff Eugene Drye; his grandchildren, Autumn Drye, Ashlynn Woods, Alexis Drye, Hunter Christy, Lanie Jones and Garrett Christy; and his great grandchild Daisy Woods.
