He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Benton and Sallie Jeanette Pearson; and his nephew William Glenn Pearson, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother Willam Glenn Pearson (Cathy); his nieces, Angela Pearson (Galen Morakis) and Jessica Accornero; and his great-niece Bailey Pearson.
