Rebecca Drake Bishop Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Drake Bishop of Concord, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Austin Drake, Sr. and Beulah Mae Graham Drake; her husband Jearl Bishop; and her siblings, Wade, Herby, Jim, Ray, Donnie, Bob Drake, Virginia Mahaffey, Pauline Jones, Ruby Shoemaker and Sue Donaldson.
She is survived by: her son Alan K. Bishop (Buddy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gateway Baptist Church (6321 Robinson Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
