He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Porter Threadgill, Sr. and Ina Bullard Threadgill; his siblings, Maxie, Charles, Earl, Jack, Jimmy and Shirley Haywood; and his sons-in-law, Danny Taylor and Butch Helms.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lee Threadgill; his children, Dianne Taylor, Donna Helms, Ray, Jr. (Rhonda), Michael (Dianna) and Wayne (Pam); and his siblings, Albert Threadgill, Jr., Mildred Barbee and Ruth Goins. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
