He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Brantley "Jack" Goodman and Bertie Ann Osborne Goodman; his siblings, Junior Lee Goodman, James Brantley "Jim" Goodman, Fred Goodman and Peggy Pauline Goodman Carpenter; and his grandson Alex Ray Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Gray Goodman; his children, Deborah Ann Goodman Overstreet (James) and Gerald Ray Goodman (Diane); his grandsons, Andrew Overstreet (Sarah), Tyler Overstreet (Morgan) and Philip Goodman; his great grandchildren, Archer James Overstreet and Ryatt River Overstreet; his granddaughter Kiara Elizabeth Overstreet; and his siblings, Jerry Goodman (Lynette), Robert Goodman and Sarah Freeman (Tommy).
