It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Alexander Furr (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Furr and Annie Rowland Furr; his former wife Katherine Layton Furr; his wife Frances Dabbs Furr; and his siblings, Woodly, Reece, Floyd Ray Furr, Emma Fink, Jewel Maxwell and Lena Mae Hinson.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Furr Floyd (Jerry) and Wayne Furr; his brothers, Henry Furr (Bub) and Boyd Lee Furr; his grandchildren, Tangi Teague, Tiffani Saffell, Heather Bell and Jeremy Furr; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Faith, Camden, Colby, Blake, Chloe and Kensi; his stepdaughter Nancy Dabbs Mesie (Cecil); and his stepgrandchildren, Leslie Windell (Eric) and Jonathan Mesic.
