She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Washinton Burgess and Gracie Ann Preslar Burgess; her husband Verner Boyce Clontz; and her siblings, Carrie Lee Burgess Howard, Alice Odell Burgess Peninger, Mary Isabelle Burgess Williams, Grover Croson Burgess, Clyde Burgess of Washington, John Charles Burgess and Roy Boyce Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Clontz of Concord, NC and Carolyn (Gary Taylor) of Concord, NC; and her sister Flora Mae Burgess Martin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
