She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Kennedy and Vera Lee Kennedy; her son Jimmy Kirby (Willis "Dub" Hope); and her siblings, Gary Kennedy, Liler Hill, Billy Kennedy, Betty Horne and Paul Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Kirby (Becky) of Lakeland, Florida and Julie Kemp (Greg) of Waxhaw, NC; her grandchildren, Landon Whitley, Matthew Kirby (Savannah), Baruch Kirby, Parker Kemp, Brent Kirby, Joshua Kirby and Kirsten Kirby; her siblings, Martha Payne and Ricky Kennedy (Penny); and her friends, Hallmark, Christian and Belk.
