We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2024, at the age of 75, Miriam A Black (Concord, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Miriam may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Miriam touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosella Weaks Black and Tharel Black; and her siblings, Gloria Gaines, Marvin Black and Buford Black.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Black; her granddaughter Ciriah Black of Ellenwood, GA; and her siblings, Marian Strickland (Claude) of Riverdale, GA, Gilbert Faggart of Concord, NC, Harold Black (Scarlet) of Greenville, SC, William Black (Delores) of Charlotte, NC and Joseph Black (Shennette) of Kannapolis, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
