He is survived by: his siblings, Sherman W. Weaks, Vernon Weaks, Darryl Weaks, Sylvia W. Barnes (Robert), Donna W. White and Karen W. Minter; his aunts and uncles, Hoytdell Gabriel, Gerlene Parks, Jolene Moore, Phyllis Carr, Gertrude Cunningham (Darnelle) and Judy Myers; his children, Michael Terraine Weaks (Crystal Brown Weaks), Christopher Bolder (Brittney), Darrius Mack-Weaks, Aniah Weaks and Micah Weaks; his wife Kimberly Russell Weaks; and his children, Alexandria Torrence (Neko), Laqreshia Weaks, Markeisha Weaks, James Shelton, Tiyeheem Downs, Marcus Weaks Jr., Allysea Thompson, Rachel Blake and Nolan Blake Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rock Hill AME Zion Church (3620 Rock Hill Church Rd, Concord, NC 28027).
