We bid farewell to Maxine Jewell Furr of Concord, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2024 at the age of 81. Maxine Jewell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Porter and Clyde M. Porter Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, David Wayne Furr, Kevin Scott Furr (Jackie), Darryl Maxton Furr and Christopher Todd Furr of Concord; her grandchildren, Cherie, Angie, Micah, Nathan, Clay and Reed; her great grandchildren, Grayson, Ayden, Dale, Levi and Axl; and her sister Gail. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Broadus Church (59 Green St SW, Concord, NC 28027). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Tucker Hospice House.
