With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Cartrett Cain of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Leon Cartrett and Mattie Mae Brown Cartrett; her brother Jerry Linn Cartrett; her son-in-law Dennis Richard Pope; and her granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Green.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Cain Love (Russell) of Harrisburg, Aimee Elizabeth Cain, Kimberly Maxine Cain of Concord, Joe Linn Cain Jr. (Kimberly) of New Bern and Dr. Jerry Michael Cain (Nicole) of Montreal. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
