She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel R. Hinson and Carrie Hooks Hinson; her husband Clifford S. Ford; her siblings, Pauline Hinson and Raymond of Homer, J. C.; and her grandson Mark Ford.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Ford (Dianne), Perry Ford (Jackie) and Lynn Ford (Peggy); and her brother Dr. Fred Hinson of Cullowhee, NC. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
