Martha McCray Sayers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha McCray Sayers of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Francis McCray (H. F.) and Mary Frances Snyder; her husband Thomas Garrett Sayers; and her siblings, Mary Louise Yarbrough, Hurley Franklin McCray Jr. (H. F.), John McCray, Hubert Rufus McCray, Dorothy Sue Sapp and Henry Carroll McCray.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Sellers (Jennifer) of Kannapolis, NC; her grandchildren, Timothy Sellers and Kristina Kyles (William); her stepgrandchildren, Tyler Ashcraft (Itzyana) and Sara Yang (Tommy); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Samuel and Izabella; and her sister Margaret Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (200 NC-200, Stanfield, NC 28163).
