He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Archer Arrington and Viola Martin Arrington; and his siblings, Ruth Kenney, Kirk Arrington and Verna Lee Grigsby.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Arrington; his children, Cecilia A. Saunders of Concord, NC, Glenda A. Kasey of Concord, NC, Karen Ann Arrington of Concord, NC, Pamela D. Arrington of Concord, NC and Lynn Gilbert Arrington, Jr. (Christine) of Concord, NC; and his siblings, Emma J. Butler of Detroit, MI, Lillian Bradley of Detroit, MI and Alvah Martin Arrington of Hinesville, GA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
