It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula M Hampton of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Evans Wilson and Luella Wilson; and her brothers, Raymond Bost and Larry Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Hampton (Pete); her children, Cornelius Wilson (Anne), Evans E Wilson, Regina Grier, Hosea Hampton and Jacqueline Hampton; her siblings, Samuel Wilson, Evans Wilson Jr., Barbara Wilson Propst (Archie), Cynthia D Wilson, Vanessa Foster, Arethea Byrd and Nita Singleton; and her caregiver Sherry Goodson Jordan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
