It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Fikkan Blalock (Concord, North Carolina), born in Yakima, Washington, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Susan; and her siblings-in-law, Bobby Ray Rushing of Albemarle and Vickie Fikkan of Yakima. She is survived by: her husband Steve Blalock; her brother Robert Fikkan of Yakima; and also Jennifer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a consummate medical professional, most recently volunteering to administer Covid vaccines in special mobile vaccination sites set up in Concord, North Carolina during the pandemic.
