He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis D. Garmon and Hester McQueen Garmon; his daughter Angela Carol Garmon; and his sister Ida Ann Garmon Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Carol G. Garmon; his children, Cynthia Ann Garmon and Daron Garmon of Concord; and his grandchildren, Savana Morales, Karli Motley of Concord and Audra Garmon Newell of Huntersville.
