He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Ray Lackey and Frances Nelson Lackey. He is survived by: his grandson Josh; his wife Margaret Misenheimer Lackey; his daughters, Kimberly Craig Ellis and Lee Anne Lackey (Cathy T. Rambach); his grandsons, Jonathan Reese Ellis and Joshua Craig Ellis (Ariana Vetrano Ellis); his great grandchild Olivia Reade Ellis; and his granddaughter Nancy Reade Ellis Combs (Russell Robert Combs). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Central United Methodist Church, 30 Union Street, North, Concord, NC 28025.
